ABOUT US

Morgan grew up around the best home cooks in the world, her grandmother and mother. From a family where cooking brought everyone together for holidays, birthdays, and just the regular everyday dinner. Her family was involved with restaurants and catering for many years and spent a lot of time hanging out in the kitchen.

After working in retail management for over a decade and then doing non-profit work and large scale event management for several years, she transitioned to working in restaurants and catering. From serving, bartending, and managing she transitioned back to what she loves most - cooking for others. She was the lunch and dinner cook at the Alna General Store in Alna, Maine and then decided to open her own business. While working to get her kitchen built and licensed, the pandemic hit and she had to transition her business model to contactless takeout. In early 2021, her daughter was born and she closed to stay home and raise her daughter.

Now that her daughter is a little older and in school, Morgan decided to re-open and bring back Red Stove Farm & Provisions, with a focus on events and a pre-order Supper Club menu for non-event weekends.

Trying to fill a gap in food options locally, in a rural setting where many of the food options cater more towards the seasonal tourist, she is focusing on food that you want to eat, but don’t necessarily have the time to make from scratch yourself.
